6 months of happiness!

Jaedyn turned 6 months last week (how can that be?) and today we had a photo shoot to celebrate! this one is my favorite from the day but you can find more at my photography website OR facebook

after a less than great day grabbing some hotdogs & marshmallows and heading out back for a campfire is the best ending i could've asked for!

see how our garden grows

we've got spinach & onions going. i've never done onions before so this should be very interesting. i'm hoping to be able to get the tomatoes, peppers & zucchini in the ground tomorrow.... although i had hoped to get them in today and that didn't happen. i'd also like to get some watermelon & pumpkins too!

2 weeks old

our little guys girls are two weeks old today!

and they're causing a whole lot of  joy around here!

this little seat creates the most fun, it's amazing. even us adults get a kick out of it! the only down side is that it's hard to stop once you start so generally May & Cam need assistance to get it to stop and be able to get down :o)

mother's day morning 2010

i try so hard not to take these days for granted. these days of whining, constantly eating, crying, yelling, pooping in underwear, nightmare waking, projectile vomiting. ahhhhh the toddler/preschool years.... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

everyone tells me i will miss these days and i 100% believe them. i know it's true so i try everyday to soak it all in. really feel these moments (and of course take a picture to help keep these memories alive) 

obviously there are good times too. really good times. going for our daily evening bike ride down the lane, snuggling on the couch for a rainy day movie, dancing, swinging, watching them experience something for the first time. amazing. i feel so absolutely privileged to be their Mama.

this weekend felt an awful lot like summer...

#3 joined us today. almost exactly 24 hours after the first chick hatched. this morning i stated hearing him peep now and then. i'm not sure if he (i should start calling them all she --wishful thinking!) she is the last but i will keep our incubator running until Tuesday in case any fashionably late ones decide to show up. more pictures are on my facebook (link in post from last night --below)
