last weekend our area was warned of a major snow storm to hit Sunday night into Monday. being the snow lover that i am, i got very excited about the predicted 6 - 10 inches of white stuff that was to blanket our yard! i set out to make this experience even better by taking everyone to my parents house (where they have a giant fireplace, too many rooms to count & a nice big hill nearby) to weather the storm. i invited 6 other people to join in the fun. i was envisioning a long night of fireside board game play while kiddos were tucked snugly in bed. i could taste the hot coco & see all the beds filled w/ bodies... in reality it was just us (and Shawn & my parents), we only got 5-6 inches at best & Mayden wasn't feeling well BUT it was still a lot of fun. if you'd like to see some pictures from our March snow day click here.
