what's going on

this last week Chris and i were the arts & craft teacher's for the VBS @ my dad's church. it turned out to be a lot of fun and a great (much needed) distraction from life. despite Camo picking up some fever inducing bug it was a good time by all! it took place in the evenings which means our schedule has been a bit out of wack so i'm looking forward to a nice quiet weekend at home.

Cameron also had his first attempt at a "big movie" this week. we took him to see Horton Hears a Who for free thru this Free Family Film Festival... a hard deal to pass up! the movie was great, it's too bad Camo only made it 1/2 way through. he and Chris had fun walking around the mall while May and i finished watching.

my photography class (did i mention this yet?) is going really well. this week we started developing our own film, something i've never done before. what a rush to be a part of the creative process 100% from beginning to end!! next week i should have some prints to scan and show off. Tuesday nights are rapidly becoming my favorite nights of the week :o)
